Strategic Partnership between Aprendio & ECA
In 2023, Aprendio and Energy and Climate Academy entered into a partnership that means Aprendio will gradually take over (a friendly takeover of) the Energy and Climate Academy brand, courses, and other assets.
About Energy and Climate Academy (ECA)
Energy and Climate Academy (ECA) is an independent, international post-graduate center focused on energy, climate, and environmental education. In collaboration with leading universities, companies, and organizations, ECA offers advanced courses, seminars, and study tours. Our mission is to enhance knowledge in energy, climate, and environmental fields through specialized, international post-graduate programs.
The partnership with ECA is a central part of our new strategy from providing technological services and infrastructure to corporate academies to also actively develop green courses ourselves. In this process, the partnership with ECA means that we already have courses, a strong pipeline of new green courses and an experienced team to lead this strategic change.”

Torben Kierkegaard formerly the CEO of Energy and Climate Academy will continue Chief Learning Officer in Aprendio and will continue to be a central part of the Aprendio team and the creation of new green courses to accelerate the green transition.
